SKIN,Skin...its all about SkiN!!!

Hi hi! :)

So...some of you may know and most of you probably don't know! Im an image consultant and one of the major factors that come into the business of image consulting is skin! Not only do we do make-up but we also teach you about your skin and also about what products you should be using to make sure it's kept at it's absolute best! Believe me...I know how it is to battle with your skin and trying to find the right products and combinations to get it looking beautiful-without make-up! :) Please remember the following is my personal opinion and from my personal experience.

My friend, Kelly, works for Clinique and I spoke to her a little while back and asked her to please help me with my skin because after trying out antibiotics etc etc...nothing was really helping! Before I used to use most of the cheaper skin care ranges...didn't help! :( So she sat me down and did all the tests to see what type of skin type I was and what range I should be using. I started it and within days I saw an improvement!!!! :) I have now been using it for over a year and the products are fantastic! I use the regular 3-step program for oily skin and then a few of their other products including the pore minimiser( which all of my clients LOVE-it makes your skin super soft and smooth!), their Even Better foundation and quite a few of their other make-up products! Their products last quite long as well-my Dramatically Different moisturising gel has lasted about 7months now!The toner lasts about 3-4months and the cleanser about 5months-depending on usage! But the bottles are all designed to let just the right amount of product out at a time-so you shouldn't overuse!

My skin has really been rejoicing since I started using Clinique! So I would really recommend that you give it a try if you are needing a new product to try that will work!

Find the link below to the SA website where you can check out their products etc.

Restaurant to try out! :)

Hey all! :)

So a few friends and I went to try out a restaurant in Edenvale,Joburg last night. Fahrentheit. It was a great experience! :) The restaurant is really well run and beautifully decorated! The mood is really tranquil+romantic with beautiful warm lighting with bright red details all over the space. I would suggest that if you're looking to try out a new seafood+grill restaurant that you look no further! I had calamari and hake. My hake was just BEAUTIFUL!!! It was so tasty, soft and melted in my mouth :) My brother also had the special which was prawns, sirloin, rice+veg for R69! So they are really not badly priced either! My meal came to R85-not on special!

So check out the link below!

It saves to SHOP AROUND!!! :)

Hey hey!

So here are two great examples of how it pays to shop around! :D There really is no point of "breaking the bank" on basic trendy items/outfits.

Dress from Foschini for R400
Dress from Mr.Price for R79.99
Firstly, almost exactly the same print on the dresses, similar embroidery,  empire line but different sleeves+COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRICES!!! Ha ha... Now come on ladies...this is not an investment buy...this is a trendy, floral dress! Sure the one from Mr.Price wont be as good quality as the Foschini's one, but truthfully...How long will you keep this dress for before pushing it to the back of your closet and then finally getting up the courage to give it to a charity of your choice??? Yes, floral comes and goes through the years, but it never comes back in exactly the same way...this item will out date! So buy the cheaper one! :)

Secondly, found below, is the button-up vest. Also another trendy item that changes with each season. This is something that should be in your closet but that you don't have to go broke for!Obviously the colour is different but you can choose from a variety of colours from Pick 'N Pay Clothing-I mean COME ON-they cost 50 bucks!!!You can even get one in every colour-if you really want!(Should come close to the amount your forking out for one of these vests from Insight! :P)

Button-up vest from Insight for R325
Button-up vest from Pick 'N Pay Clothing for R49.99

So, hopefully this will inspire you to think before you spend! :)

What is the "Pearl of Great Price" ?

So...as I explained when I first started my blog, The GREATEST pearl of all is Jesus Christ!
In Matthew 13:45-46 it says, "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it."
No pretty garment or exquisite jewelry or even the BIGGEST sale can even begin to compare to the joy that my Saviour, Jesus Christ has brought me in my life!

These other things are just things that I like+are my passions that I hope would help you out!My greatest PASSION is living my life completely SOLD OUT for Him alone!!!!! :D
I hope that while you read through and explore all the pics of my latest finds that you realise that there is no thing that could ever fulfill that joy or give you that LOVE that you need or are even desperate for!Just remember no 'thing' would ever die for you-like Jesus did!

I pray that every person who stumbles upon this blog would realise this and would start to seek out the GREATEST pearl of all-the one you would sell ALL your STUFF for in an instant-JESUS CHRIST!:)

HELLO!!!!! :D

Hey! :)
So here is an update of some of the cool buys I have made and also a dress that my boyfriend bought me in NYC. :D
First of all are a pair of beautiful Trenery leather sandals(tan) which are also available in black. You can find them in the latest ELLE issue also. They are R499. I got so sick of buying really cheap sandals that lasted me not even 2 weeks before they started to break in some way or another...so I decided to buy good quality.
My next buy is this stunning top from Forever New.It's almost a nude colour with a touch of pink. The satin and lace detailing add such a romantic feel to this pretty straight cut garment.
A pic of me in the top that my friend Helena took in CT.(nopictureshere.blogspot.com)
Next are these two fantastic little clutch bags from Forever New.
This intricately detailed purse is wonderful for these clutch bags.It fits in them perfectly and takes up hardly any space, which honestly you dont have much of in a clutch. It is also from Forever New.
This is now the dress my handsome man bought for me in New York from Abercrombie+Fitch. It has pockets(which I LOVE on dresses!) and a very flattering sweet-heart neckline.

Then here are some of my jewelry purchases+gifts. The pearl earrings are from Forever New(R79pp) and the intricate silver earrings are from Diva(a gift from my Boyfriend's sister and mom). The BEAUTIFUL ring is from Jarrod-my boyfriend, we found it in Hermanus at the little market by the beach-it's real silver.
